Since our beginnings in London three years ago, the Crashpadder community has grown to over 7,000 hosts in 100 countries and 2,500 cities. We've met amazing people from all over the world, had inspiring experiences, and helped pioneer a new way to travel.
Today, we are thrilled to announce that we've joined with Airbnb to continue building a global community.
As part of the transition, we will automatically move your Crashpadder account to Airbnb. All of your account and listing information will be preserved. For security reasons, you will need to set a new Airbnb password upon moving your account. Simply click below to learn more and get started.
Crashpadder is now a subsidiary of Airbnb, a US corporation.
If you do not move your account to Airbnb, you will not be able to enjoy Crashpadder services going forward.
Airbnb is the world's leading community marketplace for accommodation, and works just like Crashpadder: hosts advertise their spare room or whole property and guests make bookings online safely and securely. Airbnb has over 5 million nights booked in 19,000 cities. Learn more about Airbnb and some of the new exciting features you'll enjoy as a member, including the £30,000 host guarantee, free professional photography, and 24/7 support.
We've known the founders of Airbnb almost since we started, and beyond being great guys, they share a common vision that aligned perfectly with ours. We felt the best way to continue to improve the experience for you - our community - was to join with Airbnb. The team at Airbnb is passionate about what they do, have the highest standards of care and love for their community, and have a drive to innovative continually in order to improve the safety, security, and experience for all their members. We're excited to welcome you into the Airbnb community.
You can still access Crashpadder to download messages or past bookings, but you won't be able to make or receive any new ones. If you have outstanding bookings on Crashpadder they are still valid, and you should have already received an email with more information.
Whether you're a guest, new host, or longtime super host, we want you to know that we're here to make this transition as easy as possible. Feel free to contact us directly with any questions, comments or concerns you might have.
Welcome to Airbnb,
Stephen & Dan
